She that writes

By day, she devours every sound, sight and sense around her.

By night, she pours her soul onto her writing instrument.   A catharsis entertained by the dim light of her bedside lamp.

And then she sleeps.

  1. We best write about what we see, touch, smell, feel and hear. Imagination > that’s the icing 🙂

    • Yes, our best themes come from what we understand and experience. And then we have our gift of Imagination and craftiness to dress them up.

    • Haha! No I don’t! But your comment reminded me of a chapter titled ‘What Writing Is’, from Stephen King’s ‘On Writing’. It starts with the opening line, ‘Telepathy, of course.’
